Titus Falcón

Titus was a beloved pet and family member who died subsequent to a surreal set of experiences involving Arizona's first veterinary school (19-19, 19-20, 19-21, 19-22, 19-23). Maria Falcón has graciously provided her perspective on her beloved Titus so you can understand why he was so loved.

Titus was a member of our family and will forever be loved and missed every single day. His human-like eyes could melt your heart to pieces. He was gentle, intelligent and ever-curious. What he wanted most was to be loved and to always make you feel loved in return. He always seemed to know if you were having a tough day, and wouldn't leave your side until your spirits were brightened. With just one look he could tell you, "Things will soon get better." We loved and cared for him just as we have all of our beloved pets.

Pets are family and should never be considered property – it is unfortunate that current laws view them as just that. Titus' life was cut short, and he suffered greatly at the hands of the veterinarian school that we put our trust and faith in. The veterinarians and the school itself have yet to take accountability for their wrongdoing and the subsequent injury and death they caused to our dear Titus.

July 10, 2018, was the day that Titus could no longer be with us and with all of his family surrounding him, we saw life leaving those beautiful, human-like eyes. We loved him and he loved us…unconditionally.

We will love you forever and ever, Titus. The sweetest boy.
